How it goes
From the first call to the last light
You tell us where the house is and what you want lit. We measure the roofline, look at the roof type and the trees, and send a real price in writing.
On install day we hang the lights, plug into one outdoor outlet, test every run, and set the timer. You come home to it on.
In January we take it all down and box it. Year two, you already own the lights.
How it holds
How the lights go on your roof
No screws, no staples, no glue on the wall. Each surface gets the clip made for it, and the roof is left exactly as we found it.
Stone
Clips ride the gutter lip or the shingle edge above the stone. The wall is never touched.
Stucco
Edge clips grip the fascia board, not the wall. No glue on the stucco and no holes in it.
Standing-seam metal
Seam clamps squeeze onto the raised rib. No screws, so no leak path.
Live oaks
Strands wrap the trunk and the first limbs, spaced even and held with ties. No staples in the bark.
The season
The season is short. The calendar is not a secret.
One installer, one truck. Dates fill in the order they are booked.

What moves the price
Every quote starts from the same three tiers. Four things move it from there.
- Linear feet. More eave, more lights, more time.
- Stories. A second floor means taller ladders and slower work.
- Roof type. Standing seam and stone take their own clips and more care.
- Trees. Each wrapped oak is its own job. Big ones are quoted on site.
Roofline from $1,200. Full Home from $2,200. Estate from $3,500.
Warm white and the dark sky
Why warm white is the default
Dripping Springs is a Dark Sky town. Inside city limits the code limits how warm and how bright outdoor lights can be. We install warm white at or under 3,000K by default, and we tell you if your address needs a permit.
That is not legal advice. It is how we work. If your house is on acreage or in the communities outside the city line, the city code does not apply on its own, but your HOA may have its own rules. More on where we work.

Questions people ask about the season
Do I have to be home for the install?
No. We need an outdoor outlet with power and a clear way to the roofline. Most people are at work while the lights go up.
If you want to walk the plan with us first, say so and we set a time.
Can you hang the lights I already own?
We quote with our own commercial-grade LEDs. They are built for outdoor runs, they are cut to fit your roofline, and they are yours to keep after year one.
Store-bought strands fail in wind and rain, and we cannot stand behind them. If you already own lights, ask us and we will say what we can do.
What if a strand goes out in December?
Call us. We come back out and fix it. Every run is tested before we leave, and commercial-grade LEDs fail far less than store strands.
Do I need an outlet?
Yes. One outdoor outlet near the roofline runs the whole display on a timer. If you have no outside outlet, an electrician adds one. We do not do electrical work, and we will say so up front.
Can I pick a color?
Warm white is the default. It suits stone, it suits the Hill Country, and it fits the dark-sky rules inside Dripping Springs city limits.
Red, green and multicolor are available. Tell us where the house is and we will say if your address limits the choice.
What happens in January?
We take the lights down, coil them and box them. You keep them. Storage is optional if you would rather not have the totes in the garage.
Do you wrap trees?
Yes. Live-oak wraps start at $300 per tree. A big old oak takes a lot of strands and a lot of ladder time, so we quote it on site.
What about wind, rain and squirrels?
Clips are chosen for the roof so the run stays put in wind. Plugs are set so water drains away from them, which is what keeps the outlet from tripping.
Squirrels do chew. If a run goes dark, call us and we come out.
